BLACKHAWK MEMBERSHIP
Affirming your commitment to this local church
At Blackhawk, we value participation in the life of the church. Whether or not you’re a member, we think belonging to a Life Group, serving in a ministry and worshiping together on Sundays are meaningful ways to say, “I’m part of this community.”
So what’s the deal with membership? It’s like this: while becoming a Christian means committing oneself to Christ, becoming a member means committing oneself to other Christians, and to living out the mission of Blackhawk together.
If you’ve been at Blackhawk for more than six months, have placed your faith in Christ and are actively participating in any of our ministries, becoming a member might be the next step for you. Interested? Pick up a membership packet at the Information Center.
If you are new to Blackhawk, check out Starting Point, a three-week connection experience that will introduce you to what we’re about and how you can get involved in community at Blackhawk.
