Finances are often the biggest source of relational discord. With the pressure that goes with wondering if this paycheck is going to make it until the end of the month or if that check is going to clear, it’s understandable.

But you don’t have to live in financial bondage. No matter your income, no matter your circumstances, you can benefit from having a spending plan based on biblical principles.

Are “grace, joy, and freedom” the first words that come to mind when you think of stewardship? They could be! These are the words people most often use to describe the Good $ense program—a proven resource for changing hearts and lives in the area of finances. We offer two courses:

  1. Basic Budget Course: The goal of the Good $ense Budget Course is for you to commit to and begin developing a biblically-based Spending Plan. By the end of the course, you will have a Spending Plan in your hand, the knowledge in your head to implement it, and a commitment in your heart to follow through on it.
  2. Debt Reduction Workshop: This workshop is for those who have credit card or consumer debt. It teaches biblical prinicples related to debt; provides the tools to develop a plan to get out of debt and the encouragement to do so.

Upcoming Good $ense Courses:

A Basic Budget Course will be offered on Saturday, February 16 (9:00-3:30). Sign up in the atrium on Sunday, January 27, or contact Tim Schiefelbein.
The cost of the course is $15/person or $20/couple and lunch is provided.

Contact Tim Schiefelbein for more information about Good $ense.
