International Club — food, fellowship, fun!

International Club

International Club meets every Sunday at 12:15 pm (after the 10:45 service) in Room 163 (downstairs). This is a great time to meet others, enjoy a free meal, practice English, ask your questions about Christianity, and play (ping pong, carpet ball, foosball, chess, etc.). Families and children are welcome!

We have studies for beginners as well as for those who are more familiar with the Bible.

International Life Groups help you get connected at Blackhawk Church. They are small groups of people who meet in homes during various times of the week. Life Groups provide a warm and casual setting for international students and residents to build relationships, encourage one another, and learn as we study God's Word together. We also have Life Groups that are conducted in Mandarin Chinese. Please contact Rick for information.

Join us once a month after International Club to learn English idioms. Native English speakers will help us.

Meet one-to-one with an American for about one hour a week at a place that is convenient for both of you, to practice conversational English, share about your culture, and learn more about life here in America. Please contact Shere-Ling.

International women's potluck is every 2nd Friday of the month. Please contact Mary for information.

Prayer can change the world! On the last Sunday of each month, we gather to pray for internationals at Blackhawk from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm. Please join us to pray or let us know how we can pray for you. You can email us your prayer requests. Please contact Sarah.

Throughout the year, Blackhawk's International Student Ministry hosts a variety of special events, such as special seminars, trips to State parks, picnics, holiday parties (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Lunar New Year celebrations) and an International Square Dance. We always have a lot of fun and invite everyone to join us!
