There are many opportunities to get involved with prayer in the Blackhawk family. Praying with others is part of our lives as Christians. We want to grow closer to our God by spending time speaking and listening to Him with others. Our vision is that an active prayer life would be the norm for every believer.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." – Philippians 4:6-7

Some opportunities to join others in prayer:

• Every Tuesday morning, 6:00-7:00 am in the Prayer Room (213):
  Prayer for our church and its ministries (contact Fred Grossenbach)
• One Tuesday a month, 6:00-7:00 pm. Prayer for our missionaries.

• Blackhawk sends out a weekly prayer list by email to alert us to one another's needs. Contact Alison Haworth if you'd like to receive this by email. You can also pick up printed copies in the atrium.
