Blackhawk’s women’s ministries are designed to help women flourish in every season of life and ministry.
Because women need close relationships, support and encouragement to help them grow stronger and healthier in Christ, our ministries offer a variety of places to find these. Contact Denise McKinley to learn more about women’s ministries.
Encounter God through studying His Word with other women. Participation in Encounter includes individual study preparation, small group discussion and large group Bible-based teaching.

Mom to Mom provides encouragement and connection for mothers as their kids pass through each age and stage of childhood and adolescence. Moms of young children (birth through pre-K) hear speakers and join small groups for connection and encouragement, while moms of school-aged kids are served through discussion and prayer time in the School Years group. Childcare is available for infants through preschool-aged children.

Women’s Summer Bible Study
Tuesdays, June 20-August 1, 7-9 pm
We will use Beth Moore’s newest DVD series, Entrusted, taken from 2 Timothy. “We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves. Guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy.” Watch the DVD session and discuss the content with other women in small groups. Homework is encouraged (about 30 minutes, 5 days per week), though there are varying levels of participation available with this study. The cost is $17/person and includes the participant study book (applicable sales tax included).
We never want money to stand in the way of someone participating, so please email firstname.lastname@example.org if the cost presents a financial hardship for you.
