Helping students take the next step in their journey toward Christ.
Middle School is a time of significant changes in almost all areas of life and we desire to create a place for students to feel safe and cared for.
Wednesdays starting September 25 | 6:45-8:45 pm
Home Groups are for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Groups are divided geographically and by gender (i.e. Waunakee Girls, West Madison Boys) and meet on most Wednesday nights. Within these Home Groups, each leader focuses on building community with four to five students.
Please complete this form if you are new to Middle School Ministry and would like to be on our contact list.

Asian American Student Ministry
Fridays, 7:30-9:30 pm
The Asian-American Student Ministry (AASM) serves primarily Asian-American middle school and high students. We intentionally create a culture-specific space to allow students to explore their identity through talking about common values and struggles, as well as providing predominantly Asian-American leaders to model for them what it means to embrace the ethnicity God has given them.
We meet on Friday nights from 7:30-9:30 pm in a local home. A typical night at AASM includes games, worship, teaching, small group discussion and then snacks. AASM provides a different curriculum than Middle School Ministry so that students can choose to attend both.

Connect with other parents/guardians and MSM/HSM staff as you bravely enter a new school year. You’ll also hear about MSM/HSM programming for the year and learn about opportunities we’re offering to support you. We particularly encourage those with incoming sixth- and ninth-grade students, or those who are new to Blackhawk, to attend at the date/time/site that best fits their schedule. Veteran parents, come encourage those who are entering this new parenting phase!
