CROSSROADS® CAREER MINISTRY

25% of the U.S. workforce is in the process of looking for a new job either because they have lost their jobs or fear that their job might be eliminated. It is a very stressful experience and the need for encouragement and support is very important. We have launched a Christ-centered, volunteer-led Crossroads® Career Ministry for our congregation and community. The goal of this ministry is to provide necessary job searching tools and processes and, equally important, to help men and women become devoted followers of Christ at work, on the job and in their careers.

Crossroads Career Ministry Informational Meeting
Sunday, September 12, 10:30 am (right after first service)
The Fireside Room (201)
You’re invited to come - and bring anyone else you know who is going through a job/career transition. It is open to everyone, not just Blackhawk attendees.

Crossroads Career Ministry Meetings
First and third Thursday nights of the month, 7-9pm
Begins September 16 (Sept 2 meeting has been canceled)
Room 205A

At our meetings, we hear expert speakers on career search topics, share our experiences in small groups, and go through studies to help our attitude and effectiveness in our job search efforts. We create a comfortable community where experiences can be talked about safely and ideas and encouraging words can be shared.

Please contact Bill Schultz if you are interested in coming to the group or learning more about this ministry.
