Everywhere we look, there are messages that tell us that we don’t quite measure up. We’re not smart enough, not thin enough, not rich enough, and so on – we’re just not good enough. Imagine what it would be like to really believe that we are worthy – just the way we are! Join us as we look to the Bible and learn to truly believe that our worthiness is a gift- and we don’t have to change or hide or hustle to receive it. We will hear from speaker Gail Anderson, participate in small group discussion, attend a breakout session, and worship together.
Session 1 Audio (session 2 & 3 are unavailable due to technical difficulties.)
On October 4, 2014, Blackhawk Church Women’s Events hosted Exposed: Standing Before God Naked and Finding Freedom From Shame. We looked at what the Bible has to say about shame and vulnerability and how we move away from shame and toward living out the life God has for us. The day included talks by Gail Anderson, PhD.
