MIDDLE SCHOOL – 6th-8th Grade
Our ministry is designed to help students from any background take the next step in their journey toward Christ. Middle School is a time of significant changes in almost all areas of life and we desire to create a place for students to feel safe and cared for.
HOME GROUPS
Home Groups are on summer break. They will resume in the fall.
Home Groups meet each week in homes around the city. Home Groups meet on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:45 pm in local homes (except for the first week of each month). Groups are divided by grade and gender (6th and 7th grade) or geographically (co-ed 8th grade). Within these Home Groups, our goal is to break into groups of 4-5 students per adult leader because we believe spiritual growth happens best in a small group setting.

FIRST WEDNESDAYS
First Wednesdays will resume in the fall.
6:45-8:45 pm // Underground, Brader Way
On the first Wednesday of each month, all Home Groups meet together at Blackhawk Brader Way for a large group event that corresponds with the current series. You do not need to register and feel free to bring friends. Note: All students should enter through the doors in the lower parking deck. These will be the only doors unlocked.

STUDENTS SERVING AT BLACKHAWK
We encourage students to get connected by serving around Blackhawk in these awesome ministries — they want Middle School students to serve!
- Children’s Ministry – serve with Nursery or Preschool, run tech or lead worship for Elementary, serve up front with Family Fusion
- Welcome Ministry – guide traffic on the Parking Team, help serve coffee, greet and welcome as an Usher or Host

STUDENT LEADERS
During the school year, the student servant leadership team meets once a month to help plan the ministry. Applications are available in September for the upcoming year.
