FAQS

What denomination is Blackhawk?

Blackhawk is an evangelical church and is considered protestant. You can read more about our beliefs on our what we believe page, but no matter where you’re coming from, you’re welcome at Blackhawk.

Why don’t you have a cross in any of the worship venues?

We realize that many places of worship have a cross centrally located in their worship rooms. However, we wanted to create multi-purpose venues that could be flexible in functionality. So while some choose to use a cross in a sanctuary, we use tech in various forms during our Sunday services to visually engage people in as many ways as possible.

What does membership at Blackhawk look like?

Membership at Blackhawk is more about growing than joining. If you have been at Blackhawk for over six months, have placed your faith in Christ, and have begun to get connected with our ministries in order to grow and serve, you might be ready to consider the commitment of membership.
