The Video Team ministry is young, but the potential is great. Our mission is to serve God by providing Blackhawk Church and its ministries a vehicle for effective communication to be used for recruitment, promotion and thanksgiving. We produce videotapes to be used during the service, in meetings, on the web, on CD ROMS and DVDs. Using these types of media is very powerful and we want to use it to serve God and His truth. There is variety in our team (we range from high school students to grandmothers), but all of us enjoy using the creative skills God gave us to serve the church. We love fresh ideas and fresh ideas people. We are excited as this ministry continues to grow. Contact Tucker Boyd if you are interested.

Newsletter Team

Life@Blackhawk is Blackhawk's monthly publication that tells stories of God at work in our ministry. It is also the place to go for current events and ministry updates from the life of Blackhawk Church. As writers we enjoy telling the stories that will celebrate, motive, inform, and provide tools for us to live out our faith journeys.

Sermon Duplication Teams

Tapes Team

The Tapes Ministry is a vital behind-the-scenes ministry that reaches far and near corners of our world. We need volunteers to help duplicate sermon tapes on Sundays (takes about 20-30 minutes and typical commitment is about once a month). No experience is needed and help would be appreciated! CD Duplication Team

This team works alongside the other media teams to provide CDs of the sermon each Sunday. We hope to grow across Blackhawk ministries and CD formats. Volunteers are needed to help with mailing CDs, designing and printing CD labels, formatting and copying sermon series or special requests, and helping other ministries with their duplication needs. Web Duplication Team

This team works with the Video Team on Sundays to record the sermon. From there it is edited and posted to the web site. We also work with the Sound Team to post audio sermons to the Blackhawk web site in the same manner. Time requirements are moderate with most time spent on Sundays, when all posting is done to the web. Contact Mark Wyse for more information.
