GLOBAL IMPACT – KENYA

While in Kenya, Blackhawk church partners with Beacon of Hope, a Kenyan-based NGO that empowers women impacted by HIV/AIDS in holistic ways including professional training, home healthcare classes, and social work efforts. Through our short-term trips to Kenya, our main objective is enhancing partnership and fostering relationships. We seek to join with Beacon in what they are doing in the slums of Nairobi, and to encourage the women participating in their programs through our presence in their midst. In addition, we desire to utilize our God-given gifts to assist Beacon in expanding their influence.

Kenya 2013 Global Outreach (GO) Team
In late June 2013 we’ll be sending a GO Team to our Global Partner Beacon of Hope in Kenya. The team will be supporting Beacon as they offer medical clinics and training sessions to area communities. The team will have a special emphasis on people with medical training or experience in working with students with special needs.
