GLOBAL IMPACT – PERU
In Peru, Blackhawk partners with Food for the Hungry, an international relief and development organization that works to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people in third world countries. In 2011, we began our second Community-to-Community partnership with two villages near Pucallpa, Peru in the Amazon jungle. We will partner with these two villages, Todos Unido and Monte Rico, for the next 8-10 years.

Peru 2013 GO Team (no longer accepting applications)
Global Impact is now accepting applications for the 2013 GO Team trip to Peru, June 20-30. This team will work with Food for the Hungry in our partner communities Monte Rico and Todos Unidos.
The 2012 team kicked off our eight-year partnership with the communities of Monte Rico and Todos Unidos. The main objective of short-term Global Outreach Teams to Peru is to enhance our partnership by fostering relationships with the church and families in these communities. We will partner with Food for the Hungry and their staff in what they are already doing to come alongside the people of Todos Unidos and Monte Rico. Together, we’ll support these towns as they work to reach specific community development goals.
