URGENT NEEDS

Blackhawk Church desires to connect those in need with those who are able and willing to supply that need. We have three email distribution lists to serve these purposes:

• Urgent Requests for Practical Help

  This list sends requests for help with short-term needs
  or outreach projects for our Local Impact Ministries including Mother and Child Resource Ministry, or other needs within the church family. Requests such as:

  “A family with four children needs bike helmets,”
  “A single woman needs a ride home from a medical procedure,” or “Does anyone with a van have time tonight to deliver…?”

• Meals Team

  This ministry provides a simple meal for those in need following hospitalization, new baby, etc. Volunteering can be anything from providing a meal once a year, to once a month.

• Behind the Scenes

  Learn about opportunities to help behind the scenes at Blackhawk. From preparing materials and stuffing envelopes to decorating for events, these are jobs where many hands make light work.
