If you’re an adult looking for ways to serve in CAM, check out the list below. If you’re a college student looking for ways to serve in the church, check out the ministry areas on the left. If you need help finding a place to serve, contact Callie Paur.

Fall Move-In Days
Volunteers are needed to help students move into the dorms. This is one of our biggest service opportunities on campus! These are the dates and locations:

  • August 15: Highlander/Henry Gilman — 8 volunteers
  • August 20: Gold Key — 4 volunteers
  • August 21: Lucky — 10 volunteers
  • August 22: Lucky — 10 volunteers
  • August 27: Lucky — 10 volunteers
    Regent — 10 volunteers
  • August 31: Regent — 10 volunteers

Adopt-a-College Student Program
Build relationships and mentor a younger generation. Welcome one or two students over for dinner, laundry, study, etc., and guide them spiritually within the inter-generational church. Please sign up here. (Students, click here for information about being adopted by a family.)

CAM Food Team
Receive and respond to emails requesting food; if available provide an assigned dish for a designated ministry event.

CAM Team Adult Coaches
Help students develop a ministry team. Coach team members; attend CAM meetings, team events and some events/retreats (approximately 5 hrs/wk).

Adult Volunteers
Get to know college students by coming to CAM on Tuesday nights and/or other CAM events as your schedule allows.

Serve on Study Day
Twice a year (May and December) Blackhawk Brader Way hosts about 1400 college students for Study Day. Plenty of home-made food is needed and volunteers for set-up, tear-down, info desk and kitchen help. Watch for details.
