WHAT TO EXPECT

We get lots of questions. Here are just a few.

How will I know where to go when I get there? Can I get a tour?

When you arrive at the building, pull around back to the parking deck on the north side of the building. Once you are in the building, a member of our welcome team will be happy to help direct you. If you’d like a tour of the building, please stop by the Information Center and the volunteer there will be happy to show you around.

What are the differences among the venues?

While you’ll be able to hear the same message, worship with live music and connect with a pastor or staff member in
each room, there are some distinct differences between the three venues:

  • The Eastside Live (in the Eastside Auditorium) has the live message and a mix of traditional and contemporary music.
  • The Video Café (in the Westside Auditorium) has a video feed of that day’s message and has louder, more electric music with coffee available in the room.
  • The Living Room (in the Gym) has a video feed of the message and a more relaxed, acoustic vibe.

What is available for my children?

We know that sitting through a worship service can be a challenge for kids, so we offer safe, engaging, age-appropriate programming (Planet Kid) for infants and children to fifth grade. Planet Kid is available at the 9, 10:45 and 4:30 service hours; childcare only at 6. You can learn more about our Children’s Ministry programming online or by talking with one of our volunteers at the Children’s Ministry welcome desk on Sunday.

Forget the kids, how do you expect me to sit still for an hour-long worship service?

Well, besides engaging messages and music, we’ve got coffee - lots of it. Bring a mug from home and fill up when you get here, so you won’t have to worry about dozing off on the shoulder
next to you.

I don’t believe in God. Am I still welcome?

Absolutely. We hope you’ll be open to exploring your questions and examining what you find.

What am I supposed to wear?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! There’s no dress
code here.

Do you take communion?

We normally serve communion on the second Sunday of
the month. We welcome anyone who is a Christ-follower to participate - regardless of what church you may be from.
For those with food allergies, all of our communion bread
is gluten-free.

Can I pray with someone after a service?

Yes. There is a pastor available in every venue as well as a member of the Care team on call. You can come to the front of the room after the service or stop at the Info Desk anytime to be connected with a staff member or elder who will be happy to pray with you.
