Blackhawk Downtown is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic community located in the heart of Madison right on the UW Campus. We love downtown Madison, the campus and the people who call this incredible place home. This is a community where people from different backgrounds and cultures come together to experience deep community, explore the things that matter most, ask real questions, and figure out what it means to follow Jesus.
Whether you’re new to church or you’ve been around a while, whether you’re an undergraduate student, faculty member, factory worker, young family, empty nester, or anywhere in between; you are welcome here.
We meet every Sunday throughout the year inside UpperHouse on East Campus Mall. Our desire is to be a community of Christ-followers who experience the life, purpose, and mission of Jesus in worship on Sundays and every day of the week– in all of the ordinary places of life for the good and flourishing of the city we call home.

WE LOVE KIDS
Kids of all ages are welcome at Blackhawk. If you have a birth through sixth grader, we offer age-appropriate and engaging programming through Blackhawk Kids, in person and online.
We also offer a Family Room on Sundays, where small children can move around and make as much noise as they want, while watching a live stream of the service.
COLLEGE-AGE MINISTRY (CAM)
Our College-Age Ministry (CAM) is a diverse family of 18-25 year olds seeking to build a loving community that follows Christ in order to reach a community with the same love we’ve so graciously been given. Wherever you are at in your faith journey, you’re welcome here! We normally meet at Blackhawk Downtown however we are currently meeting only online.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS
We believe serving in the local community is an important part of what it means to be a Christ follower. We partner with two schools that serve the Downtown area: Lapham Elementary and Capital High School. Hear more from these partners.
