MIDDLE SCHOOL

Helping Students Take the Next Step in Their Journey toward Christ

Middle School is a time of significant changes in almost all areas of life and we desire to create a place for students to feel safe and cared for. Whether you’ve been here for a while or are brand new, we’re excited for you to join us! Meet our staff team here.

In this season, we’ve become a mostly online community. As the church continues our phased re-opening, we are excited to share that we are doing the same by offering some in-person opportunities!

In-Person Opportunities Spring 2021

Home Group – Each Home Group will meet two times in person at a Blackhawk site between March 24 and May 5. If you’d like to join the Wednesday evening Home Group gatherings, register here for the group in your area.

The Sunday Thing – Short-term groups available as an additional in-person opportunity for community and connection. The groups will meet from 1-2 pm on Sundays April 11-May 2. If you’d like to join, register here.

Read additional details for both opportunities here and check out this short video.

Home Groups

Wednesdays // 7:00-8:30 pm

Home Groups are a space where students can laugh, connect, and have meaningful conversations about what matters most in life. Middle School Home Groups are split by geographic region and by gender. They are mostly meeting online in this current COVID season. Home Groups include large group community time and time with small groups.

Even if you’re unsure about Wednesday nights, filling out this form is the best way to stay connected & up to date on MSM.

If it’s Wednesday evening and you need your Home Group Zoom link immediately, email students@blackhawkchurch.org.

Madison Missions 2021 | Registration opens April 14

In 2021 Madison Missions will be adapted to a fun and safe three-day experience for students who have just completed sixth, seventh, & eighth grade. It takes place right here in Madison. We will come together during the day Monday-Wednesday and serve our own city. If you’re familiar with Madison Missions, the vision is the same. We aim to create a fun, Christ-centered, and service-focused experience for students. After a long year in the COVID pandemic we know how important it is to find ways to safely experience embodied community.
